Team Members

PETER KUO Chief Executive Officer and Director Mr. Kuo has over 20 years of experience in technology investing and tech banking, both in Silicon Valley as well as globally. Mr. Kuo is a co-founding partner of Canyon Bridge, a $1 billion private equity firm focused on technology transactions. Prior to co-founding Canyon Bridge, Mr. Kuo was a managing director at Lazard and Cowen. He began his investment career at Pacific Venture Group, an Asia-based VC firm and also practiced law at Davis Polk & Wardwell, and during his career has advised leading multinational tech companies.

KER ZHANG Secretary and Director Dr. Zhang is a technology expert with 30+ years of experience in hard tech. He currently serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Kleiner Perkins and the Executive Chairman of Crossbar Inc., a Kleiner Perkins portfolio company specializing in innovative memory technology. Dr. Zhang also advises Intel Capital and sits on the boards of several portfolio companies. Previously, he held executive roles at Intel and served as the CEO of VIA Telecom from 2002 until it was acquisition by Intel in 2015. Dr. Zhang holds an M.S. in physics from the University of Massachusetts and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He holds 3 US patents.

VINCENT TSAI Managing Director Mr. Tsai has over 15 years of experience in technology investing, tech banking and operationally building tech-focused businesses primarily in Silicon Valley. He was previously a Partner at Left Coast Ventures, Chief Investment Officer at ONEHOPE Inc. and on the founding team of Leeo, Inc. Prior to that, he was a Principal at Hercules Capital. He began his investment career at Macquarie Capital and also was an investment banker at Deutsche Bank.Mr. Tsai attended Columbia Business School and Princeton University.

ANSON DONG Managing Director Mr. Dong has 13+ years of experience in technology investing, tech banking, and management consulting in Asia. He has facilitated over $10 billion in technology industry transactions throughout his career. Previously an Executive Director at XJ Capital and China Securities International, Mr. Dong also worked as a TMT investment banker at Lazard and CITIC Securities. He began his career as a management consultant at Accenture. Mr. Dong holds an MBA from New York University, a Master's in computer science from the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor's in information systems from Wuhan University.
